Non-rebated glass door frame - specifications
The Glass non-rebated door frame was designed for the Prestige Glass line of exterior doors. It is available with discreet mirror glazing, discreet graphite reflective glazing, or discreet bronze reflective glazing. It can be installed with standard-sized exterior doors or with side extensions. The non-rebated glass door frame cannot be combined with a transom window, but the width of the upper glass pane can be increased by widening the frame. Its minimum thickness is 12 cm. The frame can, of course, be widened, which increases the surface area of the glass pane used.
An example of an impressive application of the Glass door frame is its combination with the DB 510 door model and a side panel designed to mimic a door leaf—in this case, made of discreet graphite reflex or bronze reflex glass.-(1).jpg)

Non-rebated glass door frame and the home’s facade
A non-rebated glass door frame is a solution particularly recommended for modern (modernist) homes and looks great with any facade. The visual differences are easily noticeable when comparing the same door model with a non-rebated glass frame and a non-rebated frame in the same color as the door leaf:

We’ve grown accustomed to seeing wooden door frames on the facades of single-family homes. Doors with glass frames break this pattern, giving the house a thoroughly modern and original look.
Glass Door Frames and Safety
When you hear the terms “glass door frame” or “Glass door frame,” you might get the impression that it is made entirely of glass. However, such a solution would be neither safe nor functional. The Glass non-rebated door frame is constructed of laminated wood, and only its outer surface is finished with discreet glass. In short, this door frame guarantees the same level of security as our other door frames designed for exterior doors.
About the Prestige Glass Barański Premium Line
Exterior doors from the Prestige Glass series feature a panel construction. They are made of pine wood, laminated in alternating layers, and covered with two layers of waterproof oak plywood. The frame is filled with a thermal insulation panel made of oak.
As for colors, you can choose from:
- stains that highlight the wood grain and provide natural-looking colors, such as oak, golden oak, walnut, mahogany, etc.,
- opaque paints in colors from the RAL palette—the doors can be, for example, white or shades of gray (ash, anthracite), as well as less typical colors from the palette—and the selection is vast, as the basic version offers over 200 RAL colors.

In the Prestige Glass line, we offer over a dozen door models that blend beautifully with a glass door frame. We invite you to explore the Barański Premium Exterior Doors Catalog.
