About the Barański Optimo Collection
The doors in our new collection differ from wooden doors (Barański Premium) in terms of their core material and finish.

The construction of doors from the Barański Optimo collection is based on MDF, while the finish consists of synthetic laminates rather than lacquered veneers, as is the case with the Barański Premium collection. Although we offer MDF doors, we haven’t completely abandoned wood—the structural frame is made of it. This choice of materials has allowed us to create affordably priced products that are of the highest quality in their segment.
We use a new technology, developed by our specialists, to manufacture Barański Optimo doors. The unique door construction we’ve implemented—combining MDF and a wooden structural frame—has been patented by our company. The products from our latest collection—just like all those from our workshop—are crafted with care, paying attention to even the smallest details.
The Barański Optimo Door Collection features models in various styles (classic, modern, retro) and a wide range of colors. Particularly noteworthy is our selection of classic doors, which stand out for their rich ornamentation in the form of crowns and moldings.

Unique features of Barański Optimo doors
The market for mid-range interior doors is very large. Our new collection stands out from competitors’ products primarily due to its quality, but also its design. In what ways are Barański Optimo doors superior? Why do we claim that this represents a higher standard for veneered doors? We present the most important features in the graphic below and explain them further here.

In Barański Optimo doors, we’ve incorporated many innovative solutions and unique materials:
- Wooden door leaf frame—the door leaf frame is constructed using the company’s patented technology with a wooden core for all Barański Optimo doors. As a result, the doors have gained increased resistance to bending, and their rigidity has doubled compared to traditional MDF door frames, as confirmed by laboratory tests.
- Polyurethane adhesive – the waterproof polyurethane adhesive used ensures that the veneer will not peel away from the frame even when exposed to high humidity (to put it more vividly—the veneer will stay in place even if you accidentally fall into a pool with the door, though we don’t recommend conducting such tests ☺).
- VSG safety glass—as standard, we offer VSG safety glass that is smooth on both sides, available in a milky (lacomat) or clear finish. The glass consists of two 3-mm glass panes and a single layer of PVB film. If the glass breaks due to a strong impact, the shards will not scatter because they are held together by the film layer. VSG safety glass not only offers increased strength but also many other advantages, such as resistance to “household chemicals,” ease of cleaning, and scratch resistance.
- “Italian-style” locks—aesthetic and quiet. Both standard and magnetic locks feature a reduced visible metal surface, giving the door an attractive appearance. In addition, the locking bolt is made of a special ABS polymer, which dampens the sound of the lock when it closes.
- Steel hinge pockets—while others typically use plastic pockets, we decided not to cut corners and opted for durable metal pockets instead. This keeps the hinges in a fixed position and ensures they can support the weight of the door panels. The doors remain in one position; they do not sag, do not scrape against the floor, and look aesthetically pleasing.
- 8-cm-wide trim strips with two joints as standard—wide trim strips visually enlarge the door’s surface area, highlighting its beauty. We’ve also made it possible to join the trim strips at 45° and 90° angles at no extra charge. We know that installers, in particular, love the latter option. Most manufacturers charge extra for this feature, but not us ☺
- Wide range of door frames—we can customize a door frame to fit even very thick walls (up to 50 cm). What sets us apart is our one-piece door frame for walls up to 30 cm thick. Most manufacturers use two-piece frames for these sizes, which results in an unattractive joint right in the middle of the frame. Fans of thick walls told us they didn’t like this, so we set out to meet their expectations.
- Thick door panel cores—the cores used in the door panels range from 6 mm to 22 mm in thickness. The doors are stable and durable, and when you tap on them, they don’t feel hollow inside. In addition, the thick panels improve the door’s sound insulation.
- Durable veneers—we’ve used exclusively laminates from the CPL and polypropylene (PP) groups. What does this mean? Simply that they’re thick, durable, and highly resistant to abrasion and moisture.
- Non-rebated doors—here, of course, we adhere to industry standards and offer not only a rebated version but also a non-rebated version with a magnetic lock as standard.
- Moisture-resistant door frame—we know that in places like bathrooms, water often spills onto the floor. This can cause the door frame to get wet, leading to “swelling” and damage. Therefore, to prevent this, we offer a moisture-resistant door frame made of a special green MDF board.
